Startup Chat – Qik and Windows Mobile
Right before the launch of BizSpark, I had a chance to have a chat with Bhaskar Roy and Ramu Sankara, co-founders of Qik. Qik is an application for mobile devices that lets you stream video directly from your phone to the internet.
Ramu and Bhaskar go on to talk about how Qik came about, their experience as entrepreneurs and the work Qik and Microsoft have done together.
Back in June 2008, Qik announced support for Windows Mobile and they now support over 40 Windows Mobile devices. Qik was recently nominated for a Crunchie in the category of the "Best Mobile Startup".
